Bigfoot is real 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 14, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Nice change from park settting courses.
Woods course, be prepared for a good hike.
Two great courses in one town (see Sooner park)
Brand new course. Be patient with signs and flow.
New T-pads, baskets, signs are comming soon.

Cons:

Ticks !

Other Thoughts:

New course still being developed.
Bring bug spray !
Terrain is challenging, be aware of crossing small creeks, etc. Which makes a nice workout. Local disc club has done a very good job.

No trash cans: You packed it in, you pack it out. Please keep the area clean.

Flow is a little tough until signs get put up, but this course will be a fun course once some trails get beat in.

Goes to show what a disc club can do in your area. Sign up and be a part of something special !

Great Technical Challenge 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Mar 30, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Very good technical challenge. Hyzers, Anhyzers, forehand, backhand...you will need to bring your shot shaping A game. Mostly midrange and putters will be needed. Possibly fairway or long-range driver on several holes. This is a fun course and can be played in about an hour once you know the flow of the course.

Cons:

Being a fairly new course it still needs to be beat in with traffic to make it more playable especially during the summer. Spray insect repellent before playing. If you are playing right after rain there will be some standing water on several holes and the course gets muddy (the local club is working on water drainage, so this should improve with time). Long walk between hole 8 and 9, hole 9 and hole 10, and hole 17 and hole 18. The path has gotten pretty worn in, so it is easier to follow now.

Other Thoughts:

The course is a fun challenge. Accuracy is key. The course will not favor big arm players except possibly hole 7 and hole 11. It is a good contrast in styles from the more wide open course across town at Sooner Park which makes it perfect for playing both courses in one day. Must play course for disc golfers coming through Bartlesville!
