Pros:
-Beautiful mountain views
-Very good baskets
-Smart markings - there are pink-painted stones that show the way to the next tee and that mark the edges of the natural tee pads.
-Lots of ace runs
-Great practice on elevation shots - every hole is up or down
A few baskets near the edge of the steep slope added challenge
It is free
Cons:
-Last quarter mile after you turn off the main road to course is pretty rough
-Not many obstacles available - a few baskets have a couple small pines guarding the basket but mostly just open fairways with 2' tall sagebrush
-Dirt tee pads
Other Thoughts:
The course isn't very big. Everyone on the course can see everyone else all the time. If there were more than 3 groups/individuals playing at the same time there would be a lot of waiting and watching out for incoming discs.
The designer did a very good job with limited space and resources and it provides a nice quick round and worth visiting if you live close-by. There is a small map on a sign at the entrance but no signage on the course. But the pink "next tee" stones and pink tee box markers were enough that I could find my way around the course.
At the time I played - May 2021 - I didn't have trouble finding my discs. The course is mostly a 2' tall sagebrush field, and you can't see your disc in the fairway from the tee. But with bright discs and good spotting, discs are easy enough to find once you get close.
