Mud in spots, but it’s drying out well considering the amount of rain Vermont received this week.
Fox Run Meadows is one of two 18-hole courses at the Smugglers' Notch Disc Golf Center, ranked as one of the top disc golf destinations in the world. Both Brewster Ridge and Fox Run Meadows start within 200 feet of the Smugglers' Notch Pro Shop and Outdoor Center, which was built in 2018 and opened just before Pro Worlds. Fox Run
There are four tees on each hole ranging in difficulty from beginner to pro. The gold and blue tees are DiscGolfPark artificial turf. The red tees are for beginners, the white tees are for intermediates, the blue tees are for advanced players, and the gold tees are a very challenging championship layout designed for pro players.
The course is known for its beautiful views, open meadow shots, and lots of out of bounds. Playing near and around wetlands, nearly all OB is to keep play out of sensitive wetland areas. The course plays in the foothills of the Sterling Mountain Range and through a small part of the Smugglers' Notch Trail Network. Part of the course is designed around Bootlegger's Basin, a recreational area at Smugglers' Notch Resort. Please be aware that there may be hikers and bikers that also use the area, and the shared use is primarily on holes 3, 13, 15, and 16. Greens fees are $10 for a round and $15 for a day pass that includes Brewster Ridge as well. Pay at the Pro Shop.
