South fork plays on a old ball golf course. This course is still be taken care of, and treated with amazing shape. Nice short green grass perfect roller conditions, with well marked out o.b and hazard bunkers. I love it because it feels like a golf course that's designed for just disc golfers!! Great mix of lefty/righty short/long holes. Has a cool triple mando and a few water hazard holes. I feel this course offers a wonderful shot variety and is great for players of all skill levels. Some cool pin placements and flows very well of not interfering with other fairways. One of my favorite Washington courses even though it's a little off beaten path. Great new discatcher baskets and small wooden tee signs with pin distance on them. Faded 33 foot circle one lines is on ground on most holes. Overall you won't regret coming here. Turf pads are nice

The turf pads could be longer as some of them are fairly short. Not much elevation change.... a few rolling hills but fairly flat, good cart or stroller course though. Hole 16 has a huge chicken wire net blocking most the fairway wouldn't want to hit it with a disc...prolly damage the plastic for sure. Sprinklers were on during are round entire time so had to dodge them...not sure how common this is

-This new course comes with some excellent disc golf amenities, including brand new DISCatchers that catch well, are highly visible, and look professional. This course also has turf teepads which are good, not great. They can soak up a little mud, but on the rainy days (which there are a lot of) they have surprisingly good traction.
-This course is impeccably maintained, it makes other courses look bad, there is no trash, grass is cut, not many dead leaves around. This fact brings a very professional feel to the course, something which you typically don't experience.
-Given the flat, tree rowed nature of this course, it is necessary to get a little creative with basket placements. There aren't many boring spots with baskets, rather than list all the cool placements, I'll say the boring one (because there are fewer), 4, 13, 15. And I even have trouble saying those are boring, because they aren't that bad.
-This course is designed very well. It seems to me that designing this course would be something of a blessing and a curse because it is a massive, beautiful chunk of land, but it is an old golf course, so there isn't much nuance to be had, mostly just openess and rows of trees. however, each hole has something new, the variety does not necessarily come with the tee shot here, more often it comes closer to the basket.
-This course has a very pretty water feature, and as a result several baskets are right on the edge, which is fun.

-Tee signs are meh, they are little wooden things that give hole number and distance. A necessary addition given the previous lack of signs and need to rely solely on the uDisc map.
-Almost every time I come to play this course it is super muddy. That's not to say that every other course around isn't muddy (c'mon, we live in the PNW), but the flat, short grass nature of this course makes it a breeding ground for slipping, dirty discs, etc.
-No elevation out here, too bad. Not much to do in terms of design because the land is just flat.
-The biggest complaints I have with this course is after rain it gets really really muddy, and sometimes the pond overflows onto 14's green and the walk from there to 15's tee. This means you really have to pick the right shoes and bring a towel or two. The other thing is, you could probably get away with only having your favorite driver off every tee. I could shoot pretty well if I threw a destroyer for every tee shot.

This is a great course, definitely worth checking out. After the first time you play you'll find yourself saying "I should come back here". This is also a very new course, so I only see good things for it in the future. Come to this place if you want a different style of golf than what you are likely used to!
