Pros:
-The course is beautiful and challenging. The tees, fairways and greens are clean and manicured as you expect a golf course to be. There are a bunch of open holes for bombing and a few technical holes mixed in to keep your game on point. As a RHBH dominant player (with a decent flick and roller) there are opportunities to use every shot I know.
-turf tee pads are huge and consistent
-By far, the best club house I've experienced at a disc golf course with many beers on tap and good food.
-You can book a tee time, which is very helpful considering the huge packs I've seen playing lately. (some of that traffic may dissipate once they actually start charging to play in spring '19)

Cons:
-The registration process is the worst part about the steel club experience and that only takes about ten minutes, so it's not that bad and you only have to do it once. Yes, you need to have a credit card on file, but that's how country clubs do it.
-Some of the holes get swampy, but we did get about 70 inches of rain in 2018 so that is to be expected. I heard a few pins will be moved to alleviate this concern.
-Some holes play close to one another, so there may be times where you have to pay attention to avoid being hit.

Other Thoughts:
-Some may have a problem with walking the course as it is somewhat long. I don't mind the walk and the course is cart friendly which makes it easier.
-No water hazards. I don't mind this at all as sand traps make it so much easier to retrieve discs.
-Golfers are the priority since they pay way more than we do to be onsite. Disc golfers must give right of way to golfers. I haven't had to wait for golfers and I hear not many actually use this part of the club, so it seems that will rarely be a problem.
-No golf carts! Oh well. Carts will be available once pathways are installed. (I like golf carts on disc courses, but have found that a lot of people abuse the privilege, so don't care if they ever come to fruition)
-Oh my, there's a dress code! So what, wear a collared shirt and clean pants/shorts and you'll be fine.
-Overall, it's not the absolute best course out there and there is room for improvement, so I didn't give it a 5/5. If you appreciate park style courses and utilize all of the amenities, it is a great experience. Steel Club should be near the top of everyone's "must play" list when coming to this area.
