Nice course for beginners 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 20, 2017 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

Nice baskets that catch well
Tough to lose a disc due to the entire course being in an open field
Course map at beginning explains layout
Well maintained, grass is mowed regularly
Porta-poddy in the parking lot

Cons:

4 baskets for 9 holes...cannot play this course if someone else is playing the course
No teepads
Very easy to shoot under the listed par on almost every hole
Technically for Suffied residents only but I had no problem entering the park and playing a round.
No difficulty whatsoever as there are only a couple trees/branches that have to be navigated and every other shot is wide open.

Other Thoughts:

Great course for beginners or someone looking to practice
Would be possible to make this course much better with a little work. Many possibilities for other holes/baskets throughout the park.
Tough to play with only 4 baskets...played this course twice in a row and by the end of my second round it was rather boring having only shot to 4 different baskets.

Good practice and heavy snow course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 12, 2014 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

I played yesterday in heavy snow (@6+"). With ribbon duct taped to the disc, I didn't have to worry about losing it. Also, because it's a fairly level field, I didn't have to worry about a misstep and tweaking my ankle or knee (my knees are in rough shape). The only other tracks I saw there belonged to deer.

Cons:

No tee pads. Very short. However, heavy snow and no cleared out launching areas are good equalizers.

Other Thoughts:

A fine place for beginners and for trying out shots you may not yet be confident enough to attempt on a full size course. Good to play in heavy show. Everything is a par three. However, if you're more advanced and want to challenge yourself, holes 1, 2, 4 and 8 you can call par 2's (& maybe 3 and 6).

Sunrise Park Short but sweet 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 9, 2010 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Great use of small area. Course well maintained. Local

Cons:

Small Course
Pricker patch that is not to be messed with.
Park and course technically for town residents only rarely enforced

Other Thoughts:

Could be a really great course with a few more baskets and clearer public access
