Pros:

Teddy's Hill Disc Golf Course is located in a Fergus Falls city park known as Roosevelt Park. The primary attraction in Roosevelt Park is a skateboard rink. The parking lot, skateboard rink, and the beginning and end of the disc golf course is on top of what appears to be the tallest hill in town. I observed the entire park to be clean and well maintained, with the grass cut low. The course has 9 holes. Each tee is dirt. There is a wooden pole with the number of the hole next to each tee. The baskets appear to be homemade, as there is no brand name on any basket. The baskets are easy to spot because they are painted bright orange. The baskets are firm, with a concrete base. Each basket has the number on display. Trees are in play for all nine holes. Some holes are downhill shots, while other holes are uphill shots, while a couple of the holes are shots across the side of the hill.

Cons:

The poles at each tee display the hole number, but do not display the distance, par, and do not display a map drawing of the tee to basket. Because the poles are unpainted wood, some are difficult to spot. I never did find the pole and tee for hole 8, so I just had to make up my own tee location. A portion of the course is at a low elevation at the bottom of the hill, and it was apparent that a portion of the fairway for #2 and most of the fairway for #3 had been under water for a long period of time because there was a lack of vegetation.

Other Thoughts:

It would be helpful if the poles at each tee were to be painted with a bright color such as orange or pink to make them easier to spot and locate. It would also improve the course if a map of the course were to be put on display near tee 1, and if signs displaying the distance and par were to be added for each tee pole.
