Other Thoughts:
Short nine playing along a rocky and thickly wooded hillside. It's a new course and though the baskets are fine Lat 64 Probasket Trainers, the tees are just spots in the dirt outlined with timbers. The signs are white plastic circles mounted on short posts, with just the numbers on them. There's no basket-to-tee navigation, but the course is pretty compact, and uDisc helps in a few confusing spots
The holes average under 150', so it's a pitch-and-putt game here. But these are thick woods that appear to have been left in their natural state, with baskets and tees inserted. A few baskets are perched on rock outcroppings. Most of the holes include some change of elevation.
There are no "open" holes: sure they're short, but the lanes are narrow. It's a very specific sort of challenge, clambering through the woods using low power and tightly controlled shots for aces or birdies
Lots of elevation change, very wooded, some pricker bushes to avoid, there are a few holes that frankly are a little bit too narrow but for the most part, the lines are clear and it's a fun 15-20 minutes with a putter.
