Pros:

+ Innova DISCatcher Baskets. They catch just as they should.

+ 18 Large concrete teepads. The teepads are tall person approved but I wouldn't Conrad approve them. They all have benches behind the teepads that make it hard to get a huge run up. They also all have the hole numbers painted on them.

+ Teesigns are decent but not perfect. They give you all the relevant information that you need but they could be better.

+ I believe every hole has a bench right behind the teepad.

+ Course design is beautiful. Rarely do you see a 9-hole course with this amount of variety and beauty. The design uses the natural elevation, trees and the creek that runs thru the park very well. Its a small piece of land and for a small piece of land like this to have a higher quality disc golf course on it is rare.

+ This 9-hole course has 18 teepads and not just long and short pads for the 9 holes but 18 pretty unique holes. Some are just a longer and shorter version of the hole but most are not just shorter and longer. A good example of this is hole 6 and 15. Both play to the same basket but the tees are a couple hundred feet away and aren't the same shot at all.

+ Pin positions are tough yet fair. You need to be fully aware of where your shot is going to land before you throw. There is a creek that plays thru the course and a lot of pins play close to it. There are a lot of safe options but if you want to score on this course you are going to have to push your shots close to creek. Its a very fun mental and physical challenge.

Cons:

- Course flow was my biggest issue with this course. I found myself backtracking on fairways to get to the next hole and without the use of uDisc I would have had a very hard time finding the next teepad. This is probably just an unfortunate side effect of the course having 9 baskets and 18 teepads

- A lot of par 3.5's. This is a very fun course to play but a lot of this course for me was a lot of drives then a short upshot and an easy putt. Not trying to toot my own horn but this course lines up great with my skillset and I had issues getting close to a lot of the holes. This could also be because I felt like a lot of the hole distances were incorrect on the teesigns.

- Hole 9 has you throwing at the one building that is on the course. The building looks to be unused but will be in harms way if you aren't skilled enough to throw around or over it. I was able to easily come no where near it by throwing a RHFH. Most players should be able to miss it but chuckers will be chuckers.

- Course seems to favor the RHBH or LHFH player. I threw 2 RHFH on the course and normally I wouldn't count this as a con but I didn't see very many opportunities to even throw a FH. Most holes had an obvious RHBH line and that was all I saw. I usually try to throw multiple different lines when I play to practice different shots and I couldn't find many other options.

- There are 2 gravel roads/driveways that play thru the park that you throw over. As long as there isn't anyone coming and going this isn't an issue but I never like to see holes that play over roads.

- There was quite a bit of trash in the park. If this was my local course I would make a point to clean up the trash.

Other Thoughts:

Hole 8 and 17 were my favorites on the course and were my favorite because of the green. The basket is placed in a spot where the hole is almost a natural island without being an island. The basket is close to the creek but not too close and has a fair line to get to the basket.

Don't sleep on this course. If this was the only course that I had around I would be super proud of it. For the size of the property they did a wonderful job of making this a great course and even if there was an abundance of courses around I would be frequenting this course often. The uniqueness and fair difficulty of this course would keep me coming back. I traveled out of my way to play this course but I wouldn't say that you need to travel out of your way to play here but if you do you will not be disappointed by this course.
