Pros:
--Very challenging
--tees have signs with #, par and distance
--concrete pads
--garbage cans
--mature woods with little undergrowth so hard to lose a disc here
Cons:
--Baskets are often hard to see
--numerous holes have no discernible path to the basket. This seemed to get worse on the back 9. Just a wall of massive 100' trees in between a tee and basket and they call it a hole.
--Erosion has impacted basket height and there are some that are tilting.
--lots of walking between holes including multiple street crossings
--limited open drives, trees everywhere
Other Thoughts:
This is a physically challenging course. Almost every hole has significant elevation changes. While this makes for some interesting shots, for the most part, there are just too many trees to make it enjoyable. There's so many holes that have no clear way to make a shot. It's like they refused to carve a fairway due to the big old trees. Everything is in the woods until the last 2 which are up and down the sledding/ski hills. 18 is downhill and wide open so at least it ends with a fun hole.
