Disc golf at a brewery 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Dec 9, 2020 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

It is at a brewery. They give you beer AND you get to play disc golf.
Two tee pads per hole with nine baskets and the tees are just different enough to make it feel like 18 holes.
It is on an island.
Ok, look, this is basically a putt putt course - most of the holes are 150' - 200'. However, it is still a very difficult course to score on. Most of the fairways are 12' wide or less (notoriously holes 8 and 9 are like five feet wide!!!). What I love about this is, if you play a lot here, you will be ready for pretty much any upshot or scramble you could possibly come across.
There is a statistical likelihood of getting an ace anytime you go on the course, who doesn't love an ace?
It is on private property but you can play anytime regardless of whether the brewery is open. Glow rounds every Tuesday at 6:30 during the winter!!!
If you come here pretty much any afternoon, you are guaranteed to run into some Pleasure Island Disc Golf Club members who are all very nice people.
Very good usage of a relatively small piece of property - the layout is great.

Cons:

I mean, it is very short. Some would call it a putt putt course, but, it is still fun. You are guaranteed a few ace runs, which is cool.
Mosquitos can occasionally get bad on the island, especially after hurricanes.

Other Thoughts:

Disc golf at a brewery is a game changer.

Beer and Golf 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 1, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

Short, fun course right beside a brewery. Course has 9 holes, but two separate tee boxes on each hole, one for the front 9 one for the back. Very short, makes for a quick round anytime. Course is all sand, so wear proper footwear.

Cons:

Short course, not necessarily a con, just keep that in mind when going. Course is all sand, again not a con per say, but keep that in mind and wear proper footwear.

Other Thoughts:

Great short course with the added benefit of grabbing a beer for the course.

Beer + Disc Golf = Awesome! 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Feb 27, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

This course is attached to a brew pub and they provide to-go cups to take craft beer on the course. Multiple tee positions to change up the play.

Cons:

It is a small course. No real driver throws here if that's a bad thing. Great for practicing short game though!
