Perfect for what it serves

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 30, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

- 18 beautiful new Latitude 64 baskets
- Very fun hills with great views
- Directional Signs
- Informative Tee Signs
- Sole purpose of area is near disc golf
- Fun ace run shots, with a decent variety of shapes

Cons:

- Not all tee pads are finished
- Can get pretty muddy
- No shots to throw far
- Far from the city center
- some walks in between holes are confusing

Other Thoughts:

I am studying abroad this semester in Ireland, but am trying to hit as many disc golf courses in the place I visit. I only brought two discs to Spain but I only really needed on at this newly built Paul McBeth Foundation course.
Lets call this course what it is, a beginner friendly ace run course to get new people involved in the sport, considering this is Madrid's first ever course. However, I have played plenty of not fun pitch and putt course, and maybe its because I was in Spain, but this was a fantastic beginner course. First of all, its beautiful and almost didn't even feel like I was in Madrid. Theres pine trees, cactuses, green everywhere, and views of the city. The shots are simple and short, but offer a decent amount of diversity, and I had fun trying to shoot as low as possible here. The amenities are solid, with good tee signs and directional signs, but have meh tee pads. The elevation is kind of unreal for such a short course, Udisc said I ended up climbing 16 floors. Overall, I'm glad I crossed Spain off my country's played list and would highly recommend if you packed a disc in your bag!
