Other Thoughts:
This is a fun, fairly quick 18 hole course. The layout allows for two nines to be played, with the ninth basket near the parking area. Unfortunately, the 18th basket is a ways from the parking area, making for a decent walk back.
The course is pretty flat, but the design plays around/through the trees and tall grass in the area. There are some smaller hills that come into play for the last few holes, one with a blind uphill shot at the basket.
The layout does play through some trees and rough, but it's pretty wide open for the most part. The wind can be, and usually is, pretty bad out here. The layout also plays around some of the baseball fields, near some roads, and a hole near the water. These all add some nice OB possibilities, though the tee signs don't list any OB.
There's a nice mix of long, short, left, and right holes but since it's fairly wide open, it's hard to have a bad shot unless OB is in play. The course plays pretty quick, so it's nice for some fast rounds.
This course is good for beginners but can be made more challenging by playing the OBs. With the convenience of the course location, enjoyable layout, and relative ease of play, this course has a decent replay value. Combined with the courses in Cameron, Chetek, and Barron, this course adds to a nice day of disc golf.
