Not reallly a course, but cool to have 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 9, 2010 Played the course:once

Pros:

This isn't really a course, it's just 5 baskets scattered around between a few buildings on a college campus. That said, it's an awesome thing to have baskets right outside your dorm to practice on. There's enough room around the baskets to practice puts and approaches, and if there isn't too much foot traffic you can certainly throw back and forth between most of the baskets. There are some trees that you can bring into play, and there are lots of safari options around the buildings and through the courtyards. The baskets are in good shape and catch well, so they're great for putting practice.

Cons:

There are no tees, and no order to play the baskets in, so you're on your own as to how you want to use the baskets. They are all located right next to buildings, walking paths and benches, so on a busy day it would be a real safety issue to do more than putt here. If you are actually playing between the baskets, there can be some blind shots around corners of the buildings that could easily catch someone coming out a door.

Other Thoughts:

I would have loved to have practice baskets like this right on the college campus, it's an awesome place to get some putt and approach practice, with enough room for some putter drives on a quiet day. It seemed like there might be enough light to use the baskets at night too, which would definitely be a plus. It's not really a course, so I don't recommend a stop here, that's why I rated it so low. If this was disc golf practice space review it would be rated much higher.
