Wausau East HS DGC plays around the various baseball and football fields outside the school. The course, obviously, is only playable during non school hours. Course is free to play and pins are in ground year round I'd assume.

The baskets are olderish Discatchers. Standard yellow band ones. I kind of wonder if these used to be the baskets at Memorial park. Memorial has DGA baskets now and these appear a bit weathered already. Just speculation on my part here. They catch fine and are all mounted pretty well. One position per hole.

The tees are small little concrete blocks. Basically impossible to find playing it blind. But if you have Udisc and use the map it will literally put on the block. Not that it really matters but worth noting.

The flow is pretty decent, with a map. Kind of a long walk from 4 to 5. Follow the outside outfield fence to the right side of hole 4's fairway and it'll be by the lightpost. The rest flows pretty well before and after that.

You can spice it up if you want to play certain areas as OB. Concrete, inside baseball field fences etc.

While there isn't really anything wrong with this course, it's just...meh. Typical WI high school, middle school, elementary school course. Baskets slapped around some fields. Play it once and never again for me to be perfectly honest.

I don't think a single tree is in play on any hole here. I mean that. Wide open.

I added this course along with the newly opened and far superior Liberty Park earlier in the week. This is the absolute definition of a bagger only course. Not really anything as far as replay value. If I lived nearby I'd absolutely be chucking discs out here. But it's probably never going to by played be me again. Kind of just wanted to get a review up for it. You're much better off playing any of the other Wausau courses. Except Horace Mann maybe. But it's a toss up to be honest.
