Pros:
-Easy to navigate
-Holes clearly marked
-Open year round
-Quiet neighborhood
-Not hard to get to
-Beginner friendly layout
Cons:
-Very low degree of difficulty
-Most holes favor RHBH. (Take that as you will.)
-Essentially zero parking
-Gets VERY "buggy" in the summer. Bring your bug spray.
-Gets VERY overgrown in the summer. Don't bring any plastic with sentimental value.
-No tee pads.
Other Thoughts:
This is a quaint, short, easy course that's great for beginners. October through May it's a great course, albeit a little damp. Once the summer rolls around, this course becomes VERY annoying. Very narrow fairways (especially on the back 9) are lined with 3 foot tall weeds and grass. It's VERY difficult to finish around bagging all the discs you began with. The holes aren't hard by any definition, they're just maintained in such a way that anything but a "stellar" throw is going to result in 3-4 minutes of disc hunting.
Unfortunately, the course appears to be maintained by the municipality, so that's not likely to change any time soon. Plans are in place to have concrete tee pads installed in the future which will make the course significantly better in the rainy seasons.
