A Fun Compact Test 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jan 8, 2019 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

This well cared for and cozy par 3 course is located in a public recreation park.
- It makes good use of previously little used park land
- Excellent colorful baskets are some of the nicest to be found
- Course plays fast, so it can easily be played back-to-back
- Don't have to be a long thrower to score, if you can throw
accurately
- No. 5 fairway entrance has been widened to provide more
access

Cons:

- Sod grass tees, but they seem to be holding up quite well
- With nearby dense woods, there is a genuine risk of a lost disc

Other Thoughts:

Several holes present legitimate ace opportunities, which will keep you coming back for more hole-in-one chances

Nice Addition to the Park 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Oct 13, 2018 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

The red Dynamic Disc baskets give this course a festive feel and are easy to see. Holes 1 and 2 are lightly wooded as are 8 and 9. You must walk across the park driveway from basket 2 to find tee 3 near a large evergreen. Holes 3 and 7 are open and longer for bombing away.
After finishing 3 one needs to cross the foot bridge, walk between the ball diamonds, turn right to find the 4 tee perched high on a bank. Holes 4,5,and 6 are all behind the ball diamond and while short, they are quite tight with trees and a small stream as hazards. Hole 5 is very narrow so bring your straightest shot to avoid the trees and brush on either side of the fairway.
This course has good signage, doesn't interfere with other park activities and is nicely tucked between ball diamonds and playgrounds.

Cons:

Some longer walks from 2 to 3, 3 to 4, and 6 to 7 but that is why we play disc golf. Right?
