If you have a beginner and you dont want to overwhelm them, or chance losing your discs at a wooded course, this is a nice wide open place to see if the noob will like it or not. I took my son, whos 22 to see if he would like the idea of it. Its pretty much wide open with a couple of trees, but not many, good for beginners.

There arent any baskets, just targets, fence posts with chains. Its across from a school and surrounded by houses, so mind your etiquette while there please. Course isnt mapped out, you have to find the pavers yourself and guess which way to tee off. No markers for targets.

With a little help, this could be a decent beginners course, a launch pad at each hole would be nice as well as baskets.

Each hole is marked by four 1' x 1' concrete pavers in the ground. The pavers tell you which hole it is, the distance, the par (very generous) and which direction the hole is in.

A 200 foot hole is listed as a par 5 (like I said very generous).

The posts have the hole number on them as well as one single row of chains on each side (see picture).

This is a solid course to play if you have never played disc golf.

Can play post to post or from pavers to post. Could also play this course backwards for extra variety.

Easy to get to and there is much room for improvement / expansion.

Poles (4 x 4s) for the holes. Baskets > Posts. Although it is harder to hit a post than to make it into a wider basket, it takes away from the quality of the course.

Hard to find the concrete pavers in the ground. The grass was somewhat long when I played and I had to search to find the pavers. Some of them have sank into the ground but are still visible.

The post for hole 2 is missing.

The longest hole says it is 230 feet but it is shorter than 200 feet.

Zero challenge for a skilled or seasoned player. A skilled or seasoned player could play this course with a putter.

Course adds up to less than 1000 feet. Needs additional pavers for holes or even more posts. This course was very inexpensive to create and could be greatly improved with an additional throw spot per hole or even more posts.

I had an interview at the school across the street and stumbled upon this course by accident. I recognized the posts from other courses on this site and got out to investigate. This would be a good starter course for elementary players but if you are looking for a challenge, visit Avon or Northwestway.

I almost gave it a 1.5 because it is passable as a course. It is not in a wide open field it and there are multiple trees as obstacles. I wouldn't recommend the course to an advanced player but like I said, it is a course (Tees, targets, pars, ect). This course has a ton of room for expansion / improvement and it would be easy and cheap to do so! I gave it a 1 because of not having baskets and only 1 throw spot per hole.

Additional designated throw spots (same distance or more challenging) that were also easier to find would make this a 1.5 or a 2. Baskets could make it a 2 or a 2.5. More holes would definitely make this a 2.5 or a 3 (if there were baskets).

It is right off the highway if you want to give it a try!
