Pros:
-two Patriot baskets in good condition
-one basket is on slightly sloped ground
-both baskets have trees nearby to give some obstacles
-a decent amount of space around each basket
Cons:
-no parking immediately nearby the baskets
-limited area
-subject to lots of wind coming off Lake Carolyn
Other Thoughts:
This practice area is on a couple of grassy areas directly next to the water of Lake Carolyn, behind the Towers at Williams Square. The two baskets are about a thousand feet apart with water and a pedestrian area in between so you can't really play basket to basket.
Each basket has a fairly sizable area around it. There is a pedestrian pathway between the greens and the lake but it's not very busy and easily avoided. If there is really nobody around then you can get away with driving up to about 350' if you're willing to throw over the path or even longer if you're willing to go over the water. There is enough space to easily throw up to 250' without bringing the path into play.
Each green area has a number of medium-sized trees nearby to give you obstructed upshots but I think they are all outside circle one. There is plenty of space to practice short and long putts from each side of the basket, exposing you to all different wind directions.
This is a pretty cool practice spot but parking is limited and with only two baskets you'll probably get bored pretty quickly. It's excellent if you happen to work nearby or live in any of the apartments next to Williams Square.
