Im a faitly new player and am mainly a forehand driver. i'm looking for a max distance driver that's more over stable than a boss and less stable than a nuke OS. something in between would be perfect any suggestions would help Thanks

you are probably going to get a lot of "why?"s
and comments about OAT
and being asked to say how far you are throwing

there are many discs that might fit that gap
the question is why are you trying to fill that gap?
what shots are you trying to shape
or is it due to your throwing style?

edit: and you will probably be directed to Joe's flight chart at GottaGoGottaThrow or the Flight Guide on Marshallstreets website

No such thing as a forehand disc. All discs are just as good bh/fh, the variable is your form. An xcaliber isnt quite as fast as a boss, but its overstable. A regular nuke maybe?

I use a gummy Gateway Illusion for forehand shots, and love it every time I grab for it.

So, my question is which plastic is the boss? There are definite stability differences from plastic to plastic.

i find myself flipping the boss a lot and the nuke OS is really consistent it alwasy finishes right but i loose a lot of distance with it. on a good throw with my boss i can get them up to 400' and the nuke OS i average 300" -320'

Star X caliber. Artificially, if you have to, beat it in and it will be a sweet forehand disc.

That or an opto halo.

That's friggin monstrous for a "fairly new player" throwing forehand. Are you sure you're getting that far with discs designed for experts? I'm not trying to be a jerk or "call you out", for all I know you could be a prodigy or something, but I'm willing to bet that if you were to mark out 10ft. intervals in a field you'd be a bit shocked as to how far those suckers were actually going. Also, I'm thinking that "flipping" the boss means "OATing" the boss. If I'm wrong, well, you've got something special going for you.

I agree with the Rampage suggestion. I think you'd probably do well with a Pinnacle or Icon Rampage from Legacy. Not quite as OS as a Nuke OS, but still a lot of disc.
