Idk if i would say its exactly a Pa4 with a bead, but its not a bad description.
Ive been using Pa3 for putting about a year now, maybe a little more. My description of the Pa3 for putting would be that in stability it fits its number in the naming scheme. It has more glide than the 1 and for putting is comparable to the 2 as far as glide and fade. It probably holds up to the wind a tad better than the 2.
As far as throwing, I really only throw the 1 and 4. On the few actual throws ive done, i would say its very stable (straight) with a decent fade as it slows. Not as drastic as the 1, and will penetrate forward more than the 1 (assuming we are talking about 2 new discs). When thrown flat it would track right (rhbh) and fight out some if thrown high enough.

I used the PA1/PA4 combo for quite a while! I loved the 400s PA1 for driving, the 400 PA4 for long putts, and the 300 PA1 for close putts. Phenomenal grouping of discs.
However, after finding Reptilian, I've swapped my putters for Scales and Serpents. Armor Scales for driving, Fossil Flex Serpents for long putts, and Tar Pit/Fossil Scales for inside the circle. I can't endorse these putters enough!
However, I still usually bag a Glow 400 PA3 for longer putter drives and loft putts. The PA3 just has such GREAT glide and holds a dead straight line with a spin-putt/drive. I can replace several midrange shots with the Glow 400 PA3 and feel perfectly confident. It's incredibly controllable, has crazy air-time, and will keep itself dead straight for 90% of it's flight before gently settling into a moderate fade. Grab a Glow PA3 and check it out. The thing is truly unique!

Pa3 is like this 3/3/0/1 . Its straight, with a touch of hyzer fade. Its not a putter that will putt and go anhyzer (unless you FORCE it) It has a 0 turn in my book. Even 300 plastic. But if you beat it in it can turn IF/WHEN you throw it...it still putts straight 0 turn.

I've decided to go back to my Pa4's for putting. My Pa1 (750) is an incredible approach and short drive disc but I just feel like I'm working to hard when I putt with it. I'll try to get a Pa3 in my hand when I get a chance to see if it feels right. I usually don't like beaded putters but sometimes it's ok. If they have that flat edge like the Pa4 I would be highly interested. Love how my index finger sits perfectly across that flat edge.

Let us know how the PA-3 works out. I'm very curious. I like the PA-4 but never pulled the trigger to get a PA-3...

I converted my buddy from putting pa4's to Pa3....he swears by it now, hes been hitting more putts.
Its just a touch more stable, but holds a straight line when putt with power so you don't have to compensate

Thinking of using a 400g for approaches, and a 350 for putting. I'm a push putter inside the circle so this looked like the best option, and planning on throwing more prodigy since I am most likely getting their new backpack. Any people using this same lineup?

When I throw all-Prodigy I use 400g for throwing and the 300s for putting. 400g is my favorite Prodigy plastic, right up there with Star and Gold Line plastics for me.
What plastic does 300s feel like, how about 350. I want something like a SSS feel.
350g is similar to KC Pro. It's as stiff as KC Pro but not as slick so I like it a lot better.
300 is definitely softer but I'm not sure exactly what to compare it to. 300 is more durable than Innova's DX and especially stonger than Discraft's terrible Pro-D/Soft-X stuff they use for putters.
I don't like slick discs, they come off my fingers wrong. Is 300 tacky?

To me the 350 was softer, but maybe that was just a disc I held in my paws. The 300s plastic is stiff, and the plastic feels like something between DD's Classic and Classic Blend, maybe like very fresh XT (before XT dries up and feels like a big pencil eraser). 300s plastic is not slick to me, feels really good for my PA-4 when I'm putting.
Yes. It has the 'tack' you need.
So in review:
300 is tacky and softish, like an ss-SSS
350 is tacky but stiffer like kc pro or S

300S is (much) more stiff than SSS, maybe like a firm SS or soft S. JMHO, of course.
So it isn't like a board, but it isn't able to bent in the hand. Perfect.
Bought two of these puppies, 300s and 400g. 300s for putting. Hoping for it to be softish and tacky like an SS wizard. No DX stuff so it doesn't slide off my fingers. I hope it sticks to my hands. 400g is for approaches so I don't get huge dents and dings in my putting putter. Hoping it to feel like a gstar and Gold Line mix like the M4 I have.

Great, I'm sorta new to prodigy and just bought their backpack and wanted some discs to go with it
