Voodoo Spinal Tap 3? Any info?

Bought a Spinal Tap 3 and this thing is sturdy. I have never owned a backpack style bag and am looking forward to trying it out!

…if it ever stops raining. But gives me ample time to bling it up:

STICKIN' PUTTS

Takes about a week for the ST3 to come in. This bag is awesome! Great storage way better than upd and grip. It also has some awesome owners that are willing to work with you and talk to you through the shipping process. A+ experience from the makers of voodoo! Side note; get the matching stool great quality and it really seems to hold up nicely/ Voodoo has my patronage for a very long time. The only bag I would think about using are pound bags, but at $300 I can almost buy two voodoo st3's.

Just a heads up.....these are 20% off with free shipping through the 18th. Pondering real hard on pulling the trigger on one.

Well I couldn't resist. Just ordered one for $136 delivered. Gotta be the best bang for the buck on the market.

I tried my ST3 in a Zuca, it fits inside the cart but its too tall and keeps the flap on top raised up about an inch. So if you don't want to use it as a seat it would work.

Anybody have a side by side picture of a Grip A and/or Grip B sitting next to an ST3? Trying to decide which one I want to get. FYI...I usually carry 15-18 disc's...not usually anymore than that.

Those who have a Spinal Tap 3 - can the putter pocket comfortably fit 4 putters?

I can only fit 2 Judges comfortably in the putter pocket. I can squeeze in 3 but they don't come out easy. I keep 2 Judges in the putter pocket and an Envy or Pure in the sleeve on the main pocket flap.

Thanks, I actually ending up buying a very lightly used octothorpe.

ST3's and other bags are back in stock. I have a grey one on the way and can't wait to fill it up and see how it carries. I had a Lat E3 which was good, but didn't like the putter pocket being on the side and the main storage compartment being up top. I haven't done very much research on this bag since it was sold out at the time I was looking, but it seems to be equal to or better than a B series grip in terms of quality, disc and non disc storage. Anyone have an idea why they are so much cheaper, or better yet, how they went from over $200 originally to $130? It doesn't appear that the quality went down. How are you ST3 owners liking your bags?

I've had mine since release. Its holding up nicely. Currently I have 17 in the main (6 mids, 11 drivers), 4 in the putter pocket. Will also carry an umbrella, a stool, 6 tall boys (not including drink holders), snacks, towels, etc. You can really load it down. Needless to say, it's kinda big.

I only use mine for tournaments where I need to carry backups (it can fit a lot of discs).

It's a lot bigger than my OG Grip bag.

I went from a beloved totem brown Mojo to a Dynamic Commander bag, and am having a little buyers remorse that I didn't just snag the spinal tap on sale, to be completely honest. I would just snag one anyway, but I don't know what on earth I would do with 3 bags.

The commander is a solid bag, but being the same price as the ST3, the ST3 is the clear winner. If you don't need extra storage for a hoodie/jacket or other big items, the commander would probably work just fine.

My ST3 came in saturday, and I couldn't be more happy with it. I loaded it up with everything I imagined I would need for a tourney, and still had plenty of space in the side pockets. The weight distributes well and felt much lighter and was putting less stress on my back than my E3. If you're thinking about getting an A or B series grip, save some cash and buy this bag.

Right. To be honest, it's the little things. Voodoo's attention to quality like including segmented / velcro pockets within the large pockets is fantastic. Also, I have only had my commander a short time and I really don't like the elastic putter pockets stacked on top of one another.

Oh well, you live and you learn. I'll roll with the commander for now.

Invalid logic. Does not compute...
