7-13 year old boys don't have the disposable income to buy the protos, first runs, 6x CryZtal runs, etc of all her discs. I bet the 25 and up crowd is a lot less likely to be shy about a throwing a "girls disc" if it fits their throwing style, especially for someone as well known as Paige. Shoot I'll probably buy one depending on the molds she gets.

Tru, but all the kids we have at our club plays with their dad. . .and most dads are happy to play with their son. . so happy that they buy them discs

I like US stuff . . and only two spots in my bag is a non Discraft/DGA discs.. one spot is that US putter...have a big stack of Deputys but now throw the Magic . . . .So i have big hopes for a PP Putter from Discraft

To those scoffing at a meet and great with PP: Just because you're a grumpy old turd doesn't mean there aren't tons of people would be excited for the opportunity to do so.

I can see co-branded starter sets . .would be a smart move to get a set like that out to sporting good stores

Like many people these days, you're easily offended. Not wanting a M & G with PP doesn't make me grumpy. Old I admit to. There are at least 50 discers I would rather meet/hang out with.

That's three months. That still seems really, really fast to me. They have to make a mold, get it into the production schedule, etc. Unless it's a "lets slap existing mold pieces together and see what we get" disc it just strikes me as a really fast process.

Yes. but i saw that more as a teaser to hint that he talked about Paige than anything else. . sure she will throw it when she "builds her bag" ..she did not throw many fairways with DD..so will she throw more fairways with Discraft?

She's also a better public speaker than Paul imop, which I think DC will capitalize on. She's already on facebook doing alot of promoting: "Also make sure you are online at 1pm eastern today where I'll be going live from the @discraftdiscgolf warehouse! ...it doesn't have to be a board to directors or investors to do an annual financial analysis.

I work for a privately held company as well, but we still report out goal vs actual in sales as well as expenses, new business etc.

Just because there is no board does not mean there re no reports...

I don't think your premise is true. She got off to a slow start this year on tour and it was attributed to a lack of warm up events or preparation, but looking back at years prior, there was no slow start at all. Rather indicative of someone who did some sort of prep/practice in the off-season.

2018...won her first nine starts including an A-tier, two women's only B-tiers, two NTs, and three DGPT.

2017...won her first six starts including a major, an NT, and two DGPT.

2016...six wins and a bunch of seconds in the first half of the year (first non top 2 finish was in July). This was the year she was with Prodigy but wanted out from Prodigy so she wasn't all that motivated, yet still started the year very solidly.

Not a notoriously slow starter or poor preparer at all that I can see.
