If you have facebook, look for a vibram specific group. That's probably the best place tbh. If not, here or reddit would work.

$10.49 for a $5000 disc is such a bargain. I'd have pulled the trigger if theyvhad a 163.54 g in hot pink one with a chartreuse stamp.

Lolololol I remember way back in the pdga forum days when the gyro bros were selling the prototype ions. On an impulse almost bought a couple to try, the gyro concept was interesting. I want to remember there was some open discussion there with Dave Mac about the concept, and they tested it by taping coins to the inside of a wizard? Anyway, I talked myself out of it.

No clue what a reasonable market value is for an unthrown one, but they only made a couple hundred from what I remember. Can't be too many virgin ones in the wild at this point.

Skimming the old pdga forum archives is a blast from the past. The Dave D threads were always a good read, even though every third question was why was CE discontinued, one third were questions he had just answered in the previous page, and the last third were actually legit questions.

The Dave Mac thread was good too. Had totally forgot about the Gateway Nike plastic, and a lot of people probably don't know that Discraft molded up some Sabre's for Dave in Elite Z.

A first run Ion for 2k could be a bargain in 10 or 20yrs...who knows. It seems reasonable when you see some of the prices people are paying for PM or NS discs.

I had this disc when I was a kid and got countless hours of enjoyment out of it. Kind of a pathetic scene, I was an only child, kind of a grubby little loner latchkey kid with long hair and just loved throwing frisbees. I "invented" throw, run & catch having no idea it was an established thing already, and this was the disc I used. Literally played for hours after school most days.

Cool that it's in the original packaging but no way I'm paying 90 bucks.

Prime disc golf has showed here a few times... I've been eyeballing a scorpion, not from them but damn same thing that's like $90 CAD for a 8/10 light ink haha.
