Going back to just a putter is great for those hardcore..."all I do is play disc golf"..."You should throw a putter and a midrange over 300'. I bet every one of those m'fers disc down because they cannot get their drivers to go where they want. Looking for the reason why not.I can throw my...
There are 49 threads in equipment with the word Katana in the title since the disc came out....probably countless where it is mentioned somewhere in the thread....
96 threads with the word Nuke in the title
159 threads with the boss....
They are good at one thing.....having people on this...
Been throwing Challengers since I started to play consistently the last couple years. IMO, the soft x is the best. The closest Aviar equivalent I've seen is the r-pro aviar( i didn't think i saw that plastic mentioned yet)...My buddy picked one up and I would say they are a little floppier than...
I found a z xs on a course with no name or number so I started to throw it....great disc for everything listed above. I picked up a tl not knowing they were similar, just because I always wanted one, and was suprised how identical they fly....I could say that I can hyzer flip the tl better and...
Got a new FLX Challenger and Star TL last week...
....today I bought a Pro Wraith and a KC Pro Roc....First Roc I purchased since I 've learned how to throw better....well, until I threw it on a side hill slope straight towards the pin. Over shot the pin skipped across the ice on the creek til...
Then just say that then for cristo's sake...
I would say the Flash is more between an Orc and a Beast, but I won't split hairs...
It's like saying on a Roc thread...uhhh, Throw a buzzz...or on a Buzzz thread, throw a Roc...
C'mon man....if it's not worth typing the extra sentence to begin...
Plus, watch some advice...
Because I am sure when you asked about the Beast you wanted it's Discraft equivalent or some bs snarky comment about your screen name...
Play disc golf, look on here for people that care, and blow off the teenage wankers.
The Beast will be overstable next to the Valk when new.
When it's givin just a bit of seasoning that Beast will make your Valk look like an Aviar....not really, just love the beast...
I throw a 166 and it's my 2nd longest disc thrown with a hyzer flip next to my wraith....
It will also fill a...

Two make one great 18
One of the best 9 hole courses I have ever played.
Pin Position in most cases gives you a challenging golf shot with a group of big trees, the creek, or side walks....
Complete tee signs and brand new Disc King baskets....top and bottom being bright orange.....and when...
I agree with alot of the good arguments around this question about weather not being a factor.
I will change my "overrated" opinion of Beaver Ranch until I get a chance to play it dry and in all it's glory.
That said, I expect to be blown away :)....
Continue with love fest....
See that's the thing. Same as with discs, opinions are all over the board.
I played Beaver Ranch and to play it seriously or even half way serious from now until May makes me laugh. It's a cool course, don't get me wrong, and I have been holding back on this comment...but...
I use it for 100-150 ft shots that have to stay right (forehand) or left (backhand). Kept me out of many a lake.
Plus it drops out of the sky and hits the ground like a dead pigeon.
Oh yeah. It's almost immune to wind.
The more it beats in, the farther I can throw it too....
I have a trident and it's as reliable as those 3 old dudes that show up in the morning at the coffee place at the same time every day.
I am liking the sounds of this halo....
star wraith - max distance
star beast - hyzer flip & annies
star teebird - tunnel shots both backhand and sidearm
lat 64 opto trident - reliable hand grenade
elite z buzzz - midrange shots of all types
soft challenger - putt putt
Played here yesterday. Not sure I will again before May.
More than 1/2 of the course sits in the shade and the snow is going to get deep in places. Only a couple teepads were safe to use due to ice/snow buildup or mud.
That being said, it is a pretty awesome course and adventure for sure...
