You are correct, The regular set up is 9 holes so they have to stretch it to 18 holes for the Memorial and that is why you end up with a bunch of really short holes. I like the regular layout much more.

I just got back from a fantastic weekend at highbridge. All 18 holes of the Bear course are IN, we were actually one of the first groups to play the entire course. Now it is pretty rough right now john still has some fairways to widen but let me tell you this...

that is actually good marketing because your most likely going to remember the name of the disc and might even tell other people about it. Even if your talking about the goofy slogan its good marketing as long as your talking about it.
