Review by discinboogs in course Mt. McSauba DGC

3.50 star(s) Scenic, beautiful, challenging. Scenery was top notch. Multiple times you have views of Lake Michigan and Lake Charlevoix and sometimes both. Feet from the lake. Challenging at pretty much all times. Even the 190'? hole 3 was tough. The use of terrain was perfectly challenging on almost every...

Review by discinboogs in course Leila Arboretum

3.50 star(s) Time will tell/Me VS Mother Nature I love the next level of difficulty. I had a lot of good holes but the lack of course knowledge is what killed me. I had some sick putts having the confidence of the VORTEX by Arroyo. Difficulty factor a plus for me and I got that on almost every hole. The...

Voodoo Spinal Tap Backpack is Here

sadly disappointing. I was hoping for something with a voodoo twist. All the other bags are very functional and affordable. This looks like a pain in the arse and a price tag to kick you in it.

Review by discinboogs in course Lawrence Tech

0.00 star(s) OMG New baskets. Even if they are Innova, basket is a basket. 18 hole course playing along crazy traffic and at dorm buildings, parking lots full of cars, etc. Those things add to the fun. Obviously ZERO disc golfers were involved in the making of this course. Hole 1 was about 45' long down a...

Review by discinboogs in course Cleary University DGC

3.00 star(s) Nice nine tucked in back there Fun course for being nine with two tees. Very fun pin areas requiring accuracy off the tee. Maintenance is good. Two tees are hard to find but aren't too hidden. Quiet spot for a dgc. I was kind of impressed. Pin areas are super tight sometimes. Poison Ivy on 3...

Review by discinboogs in course Maynards Acres

3.00 star(s) Maynard's Acres This course is a nice addition compared to the courses in the area. Elevation changes and obstacles on almost every shot make this course fun to play. I imagine it could be very windy at times along the 1500' grass airstrip that holds six basket locations. And the baskets located...

Review by discinboogs in course Branstrom Park DGC

5.00 star(s) Hidden Gem Challenging and scenic, this course offers it all. Some signature looks in this gorgeous park. Quiet forest hosts 24 genius holes in a FREE park. Some hidden danger on the course makes the throws that much more entertaining. Elevation everywhere and excitingly difficult holes make...

    [Discraft] NUKE OS

Money talks. BS walks. Disc goes far. How can you complain about that? Yes ONE person you've witnessed can control a Buzzz in the wind in a collegiate match. Apparently you haven't watched any of the Nuke testing videos from Discraft. I watched Dion Arlyn throw the Nuke OS and I held one. I want...

Anyone been injured playing disc golf?

Yeah I have had blood drawn a few times being in thorns at Fort Custer. They are just huge. And of course other people have been injured. Elbows, shoulders, hands broken on trees, backs go out. Worst disc golf injury I ever saw has to be when a guy got caught in the face this most recent...

disk golf on ball golf courses' does it work?

I have the same interest. In Michigan there are so many golfers it would be nice to go somewhere where I can play seriously without unnecessary interference. I definitely would not mind paying greens fees to play a well designed dgc on a bgc.
