I have played Wapsi in West Liberty before and had a good time. It is cool to hear someone say they enjoy the Peninsula course because I have been a part of the work crew there for the last ten years. We have made special effort to widen the fairways in the woods. The city works well with us.

Did you end up having time to play the Peninsula in Iowa City?

The Peninsula Park Disc Golf Course in Iowa City is excellent. You should most definitely play it if time permits.

I doubt that they would pull the baskets at Maytag Park even if they had bikers camping there. I do not know that for sure though since I do not live in Newton. Definitely play the course while you are in town. The Woodland course is only a twelve basket course and I have never played it.

Thank you very much to Marco's Grilled Cheese for being our food vendor on Saturday. You can eat lunch at Sugar Bottom and not have to drive into North Liberty to find food.

Here is the flyer for our annual Sweet Sugar Bottom Open tournament. The competition takes place near North Liberty, Iowa on one of the best disc golf courses in our area.
