    McBeth vs Wysocki: The PPV

Before the youtubes, Billy Crump did a similar thing in a DVD series called The Clash. He'd take the top players (Climo, Shultz, Feldberg, Doss, etc) and put them on the best courses in the world (Flyboy, Blue Ribbon Pines, Renny Gold, etc) and they would play doubles or triples matches...

What will be in Mcbeth's bag?

I'll be curious to see if there is a particular disc he likes even more than what he was filling that slot with on Innova. Instead of finding a second rate equivalent, he finds something that works even better for his particular style of throw?

    Building the minimalist bag

Around here the courses are so open that you could get by with an overstable driver (works for both BH and FH at all sorts of distances) and a Putter that throws well too. For me it's a D1 and a Wizard.

Whats your favorite short and technical courses?

Hogback in North Augusta, SC is used for collegiate nationals and has some of the most interesting shots in a small pine wood, with rock outcroppings and sandy ravines.

    No 10 Meter Circle

When I started this thread in 2014, my main goal was to simplify the rulebook and eliminate some tough calls. As my kids have grown a bit, I've realized that maybe the best reason to eliminate the "10m-show-balance" rule is for our growing demographic that is younger, weaker, or may have...

    2018 Glass Blown Open

Does anyone have any insight into Cottonwood Falls. What will the course play like. Are there any images or info on the internet?

    2017 USDGC

I love reading Harold's thoughts and concepts around the course design process. It points toward a goal of engaging the player's physical, mental, emotional skills as they navigate the track and making each shot meaningful!

Emporia, Kansas - Eagle or the Joneses?

If emporia is your choice, I'd go with Olpe. Jones Park is like most park courses in any city. Olpe is an epic round in a remote location. If in KC, go with water works.

    USDGC coverage

Are there any others out there who stayed away from looking at scores, discussing on social media, etc because they didn't want the next day viewing experience to be ruined? I'm glad that the numbers were good and I hope they continue to boom over time. But staying away from spoilers will...

    USDGC coverage

The Jomez vids take disc golf viewing to a new level and I love them. however... Biggest downside to no live coverage: Hardly anyone wants to talk about the event as it happens. Social media numbers will suffer, which can also entice sponsors. Discussion becomes paltry. The reason is that...

    Where Should Pro Worlds Go?

Perhaps Hobbs farms in nearby town. Houck designed with 4.6 stars. Or boundary waters. Haven't played these though to know if they can be stretched to challenge the best. Atlanta would allow for easy flight scheduling getting to the area. Might want to have it in sept or October due to heat.

    Where Should Pro Worlds Go?

If Flyboy is still playable, that would make an excellent course paired with Atlantas next best offering.

    2017 PDGA AM/JR World Championships

Excited about this tournament. Looking for any course knowledge from those who have played before. Thoughts/ feelings on courses? WL, C1, C2, EA, RH? West Lake Longs looks tough, and I've heard Camden 2 is a great course...

What exactly do you focus on when throwing?

Do you think this is one component of why people who have started playing as children (usually alongside parent(s)) have risen to the top of our game? (Doss, Avery and Val Jenkins, Paige Pierce, Lizotte, Orum, etc. all started as children)(Many more including McBeth and Wysocki began in early...
