Forgot to write this on the wall... Aced Hole 17 with a Star TL in early 2020. That woulda been up there with best aces of 2020 Pro Tour if I had it on video. 384 feet... Long turnover line.
I was wondering if anyone would mention Panther Creek. It was a real struggle. Par 5s that felt like par 5s. the uphill holes will tax you big time. I shot a 68, mainly because I couldn't putt after all the hiking.

It's not a guarantee you'll get a Gargoyle, but it's the best way to receive hot models like the Luster Savant, Champion Mystere, Star Commander, Pro VCobra, and Star...
You could develop a bag tag. Charge $20 or $25 for a bag tag. Have 6 month expiration (noted on a ledger when it'll expire).
Have a bag tag challenge every weekend. Put a leaderboard up to show which tags are in the top ten. Make it about MORE than just the money, and people might feel obliged...
Buy a "Boot" and put it on cars of people who willfully ignore the honor system. $20 fee to remove boot. I bet they'll find you when they can't get home...
You could always add a sign that says in effect "The honor system is not working as I see the same people day in and day out who don't...
I don't throw great flat to hyzer forehands, I'm more of an anny forehand guy, but the JK Aviar has been my go to for touch shots. anny to pan is my natural forehand shot. I wish I had a flat to hyzer shot but it is what it is.
Played Nest Saturday and Web Sunday.
I can't recall remembering Web fondly, I have played it plenty of times, but maybe it's those little tweaks before a big tournament that always aggravated me. I was quite happy to play this new configuration Sunday. New holes 1 and 2 are awesome. Really like...
It is definitely more disc than a Viking. I remember the Viking being more finessey. I like discs that are torque resistant. I throw pretty hard... not wild, but hard. The Savant holds up to my throws, but not in an overstable way, in a stable straight way. It hits that happy place where it just...
My pearly yellow green Champion Savant is a disc I have grown to rely on. It doesn't seem to deviate from the flight you'd expect... straight as can be, then a moderate fade, not much skip. I love this disc. It has almost the same D that I get from a Destroyer if I'm not trying to get any hyzer...
Hole 12: Throw a good drive and you don't need a driver to get on the green. I made a bet with Jussi and DaveD that I could get an eagle (back when it was a par5) with an Aviar upshot. Threw a Boss (I think), into the groove past the end of the ridge, then a JK over all that OB and put it 10...
803.03 G 4 cost me an A-Tier win.
Lost by 2 strokes to Schwebby after being assessed 2 strokes for said infraction. A first for me. I had no problem getting penalized. All the members in my group received the same penalty. We self-reported it.
If you've never been to The Vibram Open... especially as a professional disc golfer... you can't talk about Steve running a professional event. He created a tournament (not a Major), that players skip celebrating New Years to sign up for. He may have a lot of crazy ideas, but he pulls them off...
