I've also been struggling with this. But I think I've realized what's going on. I was throwing with my elbow down and I was able to get a lot of spin on my discs, but for anhyzers only. Then I figured that was because I was getting close to the maximum range of motion from my wrist that way...

I'd say try a base plastic one first. Cheaper. Less guilt if you don't like it. I have a 174g S Sabre on my trade list (cheap plug).

I guess I don't know when to use a turnover shot. But if I use a forehand throw, with a stable disc for a moderate left-right fade or an overstable disc for a more pronounced left-right fade, mirroring my backhand throw, why would a turnover shot be a hole in my bag?
