    Other info

I threw my first round sometime in 1996, but stopped about a year later. While driving by a course in Long Beach, CA. my wife asked what the baskets were for. I found some of my old discs and took her out. Then the obsession began. I've been playing regularly and seriously since 2008.

Digging the site now that I know how to use it! Have a sober round cheers!
You working weekends? Saturdays are usually best for me now that I am back in school. Sundays are for football. :D
    Hey John,

Thinking about getting a group of DGCR peeps together to play Tall Firs sometime this fall. Would love if you could join us! Will keep you posted.
Good Luck tomorrow with the new 27 hole layout at SeaTac. I hope to get down there on Sunday for the Peter Land Memorial get together.
    Catch you later,
We got back late Thur. I saw Bill again on Monday morning as I was leaving.....I was playing really early to stay on good terms with Judy, Max and Cassidy. We did Disneyland on Wed.....not real crowded....longest line was about 25 minutes.....Max loved the Tower of Terror.
Another tournament coming up at Terrace on Oct. 26. "Terror at the Terrace". I'm thinking about playing.
hello John ~ we're down in So Cal again for our son's wedding reception. Went to El Dorado this morning and I met your friend Bill and a fellow named Lon (I think). I was just finishing up a round and didn't have time to play one with them......sure wish I had more time this morning....looked like a good group of discers. Only 2 boogies this morning and I parked three or four drives. Take care.
The challenge was great fun.....beautiful day. I didn't do well score-wise but it was still fun. The CTP contest took place on a baseball field...you had to have one foot touching the out field fence and then throw to home base. I was In the top five but no prize. The best giveaway in the raffle was a Dynamic Sniper Bag. I won a four pack of Rip-It energy drink. Next event at Bakerview will be the Disccraft Ace Race in Sept.
There is also an Ace Race scheduled for Juel in Aug. I might hit both
Somebody stop me!! I hit #13 at Lake Stevens again this afternoon.....the disc I threw has hit the same hole 3 times now. The same disc I used last night.
Hey Now John ~ I threw another ace tonight! Doubles at Loutsis Park in Carnation. Hole 14 with my Zappa Star Mako. I split $236 with my partner (Getty) -- then we beat a 3 way tie for 2nd place for another $20 each. YeeeHaw!!!
As I finished the round I saw someone sitting in a chair at #7 and when I played #7 I noticed a couple more chairs in the tree. In Oct I remember seeing a few guys sitting at #7. If I get back there I'll look for the skinny guy ~~ do you know him?.....if so I'll mention your name. hmmmm funnel cake, Snoopy and that big wooden roller coaster....oh yeah!
Hey John ~ yep were in Lakewood now ~ I played Eldo this morning about 7:00am had the course to myself and shot +4. We will be driving to Atascadero tomorrow morning for a wedding on Sat. Hope to play Heilmann Park either Friday evening or Early Sunday before we head back south. Monday is Knotts Berry Farm with Max and we head back to Seattle on Wed. Nice and warm down here :~)
Didn't forget about you buddy. I apologize that I didn't get back to you sooner. The park area you spoke of seems nice but too small for what Keith ideally was looking for but at least you are looking. I have literally had NO time to practice or play but need to since I am headed up to the Canadian Disc Golf Championships in 3 weeks.

Hope to get a round in soon with you and Don. Keep on keeping on and btw, love your new avatar. Has a bit of crazy in it! lol.
Great fun - I had a little trouble with the eye dropper and was worried about the final product but as soon as I washed the disc I "was like....Far Out Man" :hfive:
I've got plenty of blue, yellow and red you can use.....I only used 5 or 6 eye droppers full.
No fishing this weekend as Pat had some emergency plumbing to do for his Grandma.
The roof is done....they picked up the dumpster this morning....I'm going to borrow a large magnet and make a sweep of the driveway and the yard to protect our tires and Max's little feet (as well as our own). The roofers did a pretty good job of clean up but there could be a few nails hiding somewhere.
Only thing left is the gutters.
Hey John ~ check out my first shaving cream dye attempt ~ it turned out really nice. Can't wait to try again.
I threw another Ace at Doubles this evening......Hole #4, White Tee. Nice skip ace with an old DX Gator. My partner and I tied for 1st place....it took 7 holes to break the tie. We thought we had them on #3..... I parked the drive but they drained a 70 foot putt to keep the play-off going. Another fun night.
