Pros:
Fit-Fort Pitch 'n Putt delivers as advertised -- a 5-hole tiki course serving as an entertainment option at a local brewery.
+ For a small little tiki course, it's actually a really smart design, with one hole leading logically to the next. Each hole is aceable, but there are enough trees that errant shots are punished and bogey 3's are also possible. You're not coming to this course for the challenge of an 18-hole course. You're coming for a fun thing to do while having a couple of rounds with friends OR *if you're a serious course bagger or disc golf junkie* you're playing to practice <100-foot upshots, jump putts, and putting. You can easily knock out multiple rounds in a half hour. It's worth checking out.
+ Even with only 5 holes, there is shot making required due to the clever design. Hole 1 is downhill, 91 feet, with an island of trees in the middle about halfway down. You have to decide on a narrow, straight route to the left of the obstacle or a RHBH hyzer to the right of the obstacle. But if you put to much heat on that hyzer, you'll skip under the protective netting behind the basket (a feature on a couple holes) and go OB.
+ Hole 2 is back up the hill and plays a little longer, even though it's only 85 feet. It plays right to left, so a natural hyzer finish for RHBH players. This is a great ace run, but if you putt to much heat on it going uphill, you could leave yourself a tester putt.
+ Hole 3 is back downhill and is the longest hole at 124 feet. This hole requires a lot of touch and there are two fairway options to choose from and a multitude of ways you could attack this basket. For me, the choice was an annie flex with an overstable putter, weaving around some tree obstacles and finishing at the basket or a clump of trees just to the right of the basket inside the circle.
+ Hole 4 is probably the trickiest one in that it's the easiest to bogey. It's only 113 feet, but there are more trees in the way here than the other holes. For a RHBH player, it's a sharp hyzer through a narrow fairway. There's a well-placed tree right in the middle of the fairway at its mouth that forces you to decide to go to its immediate left or right. Bad kicks are possible and could send you to jail. Hero shots out of jail are still possible though (I had one) just because the hole is so short. (We're talking circle 2 putt at most.)

Cons:
I'm not giving Fit-Fort a 1.5 rating because I think it's a bad course or one you should skip. To the contrary, I recommend it and will likely play it a lot. It's fun and it's a good place to practice. But I have to compare these 5 easy par 2 holes with full 18-hole tracks. You're just not going to get the challenge or variety that a good full track is going to throw at you here. You shouldn't expect that at this course. But do expect to have fun and enjoy an interesting, well-designed little course.
