Not a bad stop on a road trip 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 29, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

The course is VERY well maintained, short grass tee signs, great baskets. There was some good thought as to where to place these baskets.

The course is placed in a very rural setting with lots of elevation and water surrounding the course. No it is not the most challenging course but it is a great course to stretch the legs while on a road trip.

Cons:

The course should be all par 3s.

I wish that they did a full 18, there is plenty of property for it. Also there are no tee pads, the ground is not too uneven but this course is really isolated so I don't really see the need to adjust any of this.

Pros:

tee signs on all the holes
not hard to follow, just goes around the resort area
few holes use the hill well

Cons:

un-level grass/dirt tee area
mostly a wide open course

Other Thoughts:

first off, you have to crack up at the "pars" on each hole, this course par was set up for a not disc golfer.

hole 1 tees off to the right parking lot as you pull into the hotel area. It is just a 300 ft shot with tree in front of the basket

Hole 2 is a good hole with the church parking lot on the left, some trees in the fairway and the tennis courts to the right.

Hole 3 is another simple hyzer shot like hole 1 with the basket tucked under a small tree.

Hole 4 and 5 are basic wide open longer holes.

Hole 6 is hidden by a clump of trees, but is a basic hyzer shot down the hill

Hole 7 is another wide open up the hill shot

Hole 8 is a good blind turnover shot, turn it over too much and you risk throwing into the pool area (not good for rec players)

Hole 9 is a nice short shot up the hill and the most trees out of all 9 holes.

not a course to drive out of the way to play. It is listed as private, I happened to play it at 7:30am and waved to the workers. I don't think many people actually ever play this course.
