At your distance the Boss and Wraith are just too fast. Sure you can predicatably throw them but you're not getting them up to speed so they're just masking any form flaws and they turn before they're meant too. The Monarch is one to keep, it takes a lot of skill to keep those understable...
I tossed my 150 Blizzard Katana the other day for the first time on a wide open hole. Threw it 400', unfortunately it landed 200' to the right of the basket. Sure was pretty to watch though. Now it sits in my trunk.
Y'all must have cannons for arms, I can get my 150 DX Destroyer out to 325'+ on a line with no fear of turning and burning. Maybe they just send the good ones down to FL.
I've thrown 150 DX Destroyers for years and they are fantastic, stable-overstable at first but breaking in and becoming predictable hyzer-flip machines. I also have a 150 Blizzard Destroyer, it's a completely different disc-long and straight but very stable the whole time with lots of glide and...
The Dragon is my go-to water disc, I've thrown it well over '325 accurately. The Wahoo is completely worthless however, throwing over a pond I turned and burned one on the fairway and left it there.
DX and Champ Vikings are two of my main drivers, although correct, they aren't even close to...
Know the feeling, fun for the Ace Race but it just hasn't found a place in my bag either. Basically the same story with the others in my group as well. I do think it would make a good beginner or transition disc though.
I throw both regularly. The Champs are a lot more stable than the DX. The DX Vikings feel like a more stable Valkyrie. The Champ Vikings are a lot more stable than the Champ Valks. I've also had some consistency problems with some of the Champ Vikings but when you get a good one it stays low...

Lots of length and potential
The course plays along an executive golf course with cart rental available. Total with cart was $10. We played the blue tees and the course was long and open, averaging well over 400' per hole. Some real thought went into the design, a better-than-expected variety of...
I've been working on the mental game, it used to seem one bad hole would mean two more bad holes. Now I just try and completely block it out of my mind, it's helped.

Great Course in South Tampa
A great variety of both technical and let 'er rip distance holes. A nice mix of distance and left and right turning holes rewards those who can shape shots well and/or throw both backhand and sidearm. Most of the holes felt well thought-out. It's very scenic with...
Nah, it wasn't that bad. We waited until they were close to the basket, and out of our range, before firing. We should have just talked to them and explained the risk and danger but you'd think it's common sense when they almost hit us.
Nothing beats a beer buzz.
As far as discs go though I prefer the Elite X Buzz, it's ultra-controllable and lays up easy. Love the Z's too, a little more stable and a nice skip if needed. Haven't tried the others but would like to try the Crystal.
I'm certainly no expert but I think overall you look pretty smooth. The one thing I did notice is, and I think you may have eluded to it, is that it looks like you're coming through to soon with your upper body. Try planting earlier which will engage your legs and hips more plus it will help...
