I ran a roller doubles event back in 2008 or 2009.
The format was: every throw had to be a roller until you were putting - as determined by throwing your putter.
It was intended to be a fun/silly event, and it was.
I like this idea too, but think you're asking for headaches and...
Jump/step putting is not my thing... I find the more mechanics that are involved, the higher probability something could go wrong and cause a miss.
I don't mind if my card mates ask. That said, but I'm not sure the opinion of other players should be relevant in this matter. I mean it's pretty...

Could this be the most dangerous ever?
The topography is cool. You very much feel like you are playing in the desert. Huge cactus on 7 is really cool. The course is close to the airport, so there is also a fairly consistent string of planes going overhead, which I thought was cool. Pretty easy...
We had a lot of success recently relative to new Course installations. Some were well funded (the Bunker), others follow more traditional course development timeline (Sunset).
Winter is a great time for course work. I expect to see a lot of improvements this winter. I’m not sure StL could host...
In keeping with a Corporate philosophy, what about an impact vs effort study here?
Overall, we're talking about <1.5% of the total population, MUCH less in disc golf. So, I still don't understand why we're catering to statistical outliers. The current state is that we do not have enough...
Some are out of the Club's control. Others are just (my) competing priorities with Logan, the Creve Complex, and the STLO. I think I have a steady helper out there now, so we should see more consistent improvements.
My biggest disappointment was easily Winthrop University for (likely) obvious reasons.
There's a little more to this story... Hoping to get a lot of work done out there this winter. Come on out and help if you're around.
I believe there is a suspicion that allowing transitioned men to play in gender-protected divisions is akin to letting an MLB player play in a little league game. To be honest, I am personally concerned about this - not necessarily in DG, but in contact sports (hockey, MMA, etc.)
I'm not sure...
The Pareto principle is more about cause and effect. (Roughly) 80% of consequences come from 20% of causes. But, when applied to finances, that is not an accurate ratio (at the moment) since the PDGA has more active members than ever before. Also there is only a small delta between the lowest...
All the pads are good.
Just pick the pad that looks like the most fun (for your group) when you get to the hole.
Some are really challenging/not as fun from the longs. If you're there for fun, play for fun...
Perhaps there isn't an analogy that works here...
I think there is a difference in how we react, but not the way you've described. I simply don't care about one's orientation, identity, alphabet letters, etc. That is to say, it's not important to me relative to how I treat them.
DISCLAIMER...
Fair, but no one has been able to explain why we're indulging (for lack of a better word) a situation of metal illness.
I'm not trying to tell anyone how to feel or what to think. But, at some point, each person has to prioritize their decisions which inevitably dictate what they are/are not...
