im a newbie (7mo.),55 and I love this sport.i have been trying different plastics and discs,i have had problems from the start with everything I throw just turning over into the ground,the heavier and more overstable the worse they were.so I bought a few blizzards at 138gm,146 gm.....they worked...
I have been playing about 8 months,im 55 yrs old,and having trouble getting any real distance,i have recently begun using innovas blizzard line of discs (ape,destroyer,krait) and i really like the light weight,it seems to help me get out there,plus they float,which is great for me...but ive seen...
i am 55 yrs old and overweight,with one lung,I started playing last may.My average distance is about 220 ft,and i sometimes can reach out to 250 or so....i do not believe that i am maxed out due to these conditions,i truly beleive its in the mechanics and technique.although i can throw...
ive been using the blizzard champion destroyers (133,138gm) and ive found them to be good for me.but i cannot get any disc to go much over 250....but i still like the flight path of the destroyers,very predictable
i did...i live in the country outside the d/fw area in texas,i played just after sunrise (23 degrees and foggy)...a solo and very strange game..i went looking for a disc (millenium,tie-died,distance drvr) for a fellow golfer,after retrieving his disc from a tree i threw my precious blizzard...

nice tee-pads,decent sighnage,park is well maintained,good use of elevation,the nine holes are made in a nice tight circle,makes for an enjoyable and less taxing experience.mostly technical shots thru trees,lotsa trees,creek in play,is really in play.overall a nice course.this...
what do you recommend,i like the feel of the mvp two plastic thing(friend has one.i also like the wizard super soft...currently using a polecat i thought looked cool (im new )....need something new,..help?
im new,55 yrs old and overweight...i cannot drive for ****.i think my longest are near 230 max...pathetic,ive been throwing discs since may (not long).but ive tossed frissbees all life.
everything i throw hyzers at the end,although i use my handicap well work the hyzer,i cant throw a straight...
im new and all of your advice is great...after 6 months,ive found...go light..disc down..if you can approach and putt with accuracy...driving well must follow,,someday..right?

I got my first hole in one today,carver park 8th hole (aug 1st,2013),keene texas,yeaaa,argghhhh............feels great..ive only been thrwing for abt 6 months,i had played that hole many times,but 170ft is simply epic for me...love this game

park is well kept,baskets are real nice (just love that yellow chastity belt,arghh)..course is laid out nice,shots are fun if not overly challenging..good practice course,,locals are friendly..water,restrooms and abundant pickanicka tables..

currently im using the valkrie and teebird for drivers,a buxx pro d and an aviar for midrange,and a wizard and polecat to putt...i need advice on all discs for a newbie like me
