Worth playing
* Makes good use of the available land and trees/bushes. Holes have variety and "fun" factor.
* Includes some longer holes (four par 4's).
* Not crowded.
* Grounds very well kept.
* Teepads. :(
* Almost entirely flat.
* No heavily wooded holes (though some moderately wooded). With...
Thanks for the reply, Steve. I tried washing it with some Goo Gone spray gel, and that seems to have helped a little bit. Some of my Wizards are still tackier in the hand, though. I don't think my hands are unusually oily or dry, though the winter season makes them drier than normal. I've...
I think I could make a case that I would be a valuable tester. I have experience with a lot of different discs and am always thinking critically about my performance and my equipment. I am reliable and able to express myself articulately. Also, I could be a good source of promotion for Vibram...
So I've had this Ridge (black... first run i guess) since last summer. I just recently started toying seriously with the idea of replacing my wizards with ridges because I like the flight, the feel in the hand, and the improved durability. However, (contrary to the previous poster) I am really...
Those places charge way too much for shipping IMO. $8 shipping for one disc direct from Vibram! :shock: I think I'll wait for GGGT or SunKing to stock them.
BTW, Why doesn't Prime have them listed?
I've been hoping to get one of these ridges, but they don't seem to be available yet. What's the deal? Did the March 29 release date slip? Any idea when they will actually be available?

Ok, I'm looking for the skinny on these Vibram putters. I read through the first 10 pages of this thread, but got a bit overwhelmed. (I guess that's what happens when there's one thread to span the entire life of a company's releases).
I've used wizards almost entirely since I started playing...

Could be much better
Some long fairways. Great setting. Not crowded. Good variety of shots required. Length of holes shows good design.
Poorly signed and hard to follow. Many of the signs were vandalized or missing. Missing baskets.
This course could be a lot better, but for a newcomer it was...
I'm not sure if I can give a great answer to your specific question, but one thing I've noticed about good holes is that they provide more than one option. E.g., you can take this route, or this LZ, which will reward you if you succeed, but punish you hard if you fail. Or you can take this other...
It won't moisturize your hands any, but I really like the Tite Grip Lotion from GGGT. It puts a coating of a dry, tacky stuff on your hands that isn't sticky, but has great grip. I use it whenever my hands become a little slick and I start losing my grip on the discs. I really like it...
I recently got a Garmin Nuvi 260 GPS, but haven't figured out how to measure distances with it. Any Nuvi owners that can point me in the right direction?

I'm looking for a complement to my teebird that will handle the wind a little better and have a little more fade. I want something that I can throw 350' into a mild headwind and still get some fade at the end. I throw teebirds right now, but i'm finding that if i throw with slightly too little...
I don't know how they have the Boss with a fade of 3, while the Destroyer has a fade of 4. That hasn't been my experience. I've got a champ X-out Boss and a Nightshift Boss and they both fade hard even after being hyzer flipped. My Star Destroyer seems to fade slightly less. My Destroyer (first...
