I've only thrown the 1.3 run. They're pretty flat and are quite stable in my experience. I used them as my bookend OLF for stability for a long time. Great run of OLF.
I'm so thankful I was a frequent browser of DGCR because I would have never found the OLF. It's by far my favorite mold. I have more of them than anything else.
I believe from run 1.4 on all the MOLF's were embossed on the underside with the run number. I think the last MOLF's to have the run to have it in the stamp was the 1.3's. I think from 1.5 on, all SOLF/QOLF's were embossed with run numbers as well. So if you're buying online it's hard to tell...
I played a course with a lot of low ceiling shots but had short grass fairways. The rollo was incredible, I was getting putts on holes I never could get airshots to. I just love stupid flippy so this disc is a blast.
It might just be a lightweight thing because I don't get them out to 375' like you. I'm more in the 300-320 range with my OLF's and my weight range is normally 167-170g. -1 for turn feels too much but 0 feels too little. It definitely flipped up a little. They honestly fly similar to my 1.4...
It will be a useful disc for me. I'm LHBH with no forehand so I need some flippy stuff. I haven't had a disc in a while that I can throw on a lot of hyzer and it flip all the way over, panning super far left and then a tiny bit of fade at the end. It's so flippy it's almost easy to control the...
Just picked up one of these and I love it. I've only thrown it in a field, but man is it fun. Makes me giggle every time I throw it. I love stupid understable discs because they're just so interesting. If you're on the fence definitely pick up a heavy one because you can actually throw it in the...
I've got two of the Lunar OLF's, and maybe the one I bag is an anomaly? It's 168 and I definitely get it to flip up quite a bit. I did lightly sand off the flashing on the bottom rim. Every other discussion I've seen about them say's they're beefcakes and that hasn't been my experience. They're...
Is there a way to filter the disc discussion like there was on the old website? I can see people have tagged their posts but I don't see the option to filter by something like "MVP" or "Putters"
Yeah they really are nice. Have pretty good glide while being overstable. I'm not a fan of having to throw a draco/firebird really hard to get that crazy fade. I lose all control. With the new glow 1.1's I can get nearly the same shot shape with less effort.
The Glow OLF's are awesome. I can have my entire fairway lineup now as OLF's and one roadrunner. I've found I'm not reaching for my draco as much with the GOLF. My game doesn't need crazy overstable discs. I took out my 1.1 Glow Draco out of the bag this season and have rarely been in a...
Yeah you'll definitely have overlap if you bag multiple comets in varying stability. I also didn't love the hand feel of the lobster. Flight was nice if I released it how I wanted but I rarely did cause of how it felt in my hand.
That's great to hear because my seasoned Hex is one of my most thrown and favorite discs. I'm attempting to cycle them, but Neutron just takes so long to beat in. If I were to lose my 2 year old Hex, I'd be in trouble.
Dang I was hoping one of these new OTB Hex releases would be more understable out of the box. I've got two Neutron Hex's in the bag, one seasoned and one fairly fresh. It took over a year to get that first hex to where it is and I'll be screwed if I lose it.
If you like beaded putters I'm a huge fan of 400 Glow PA-3. You can hammer on them and they're insanely torque resistant. Just check out Vaino throwing them. It's the perfect combination of stability and glide. I never like Envy's because they were way too fast for what I want a throwing putter...
