Aviar Question

Quick question. I've been playing for a few years, but am just now getting serious about it. What is the biggest (if any) difference between the Aviar and KC Pro Aviar? Thanks, guys.

If I remember right the Kc Pro has a bead and the Aviar Putt and Approach does not. Kc is stiffer and slightly more overstable. It beats in a little bit slower because of the pro plastic and the bead helps keep the stability longer, and its a couple $$ more expensive.

in short the Main difference is the bead and stiffer slightly more durable plastic.

Essentially the bead.

If you want a beadless KC the McPro is essentially that. If you don't want to spend a premium on McPros, the grid will be as close as you can get to a beadless KC.

Stability-wise the KCs are more OS than the beadless variety.

^Some DX Glows from back in the day DID have beads. e.g., Throw-in-the-Darks.

Aviar no bead, the KC Pro-JK Pro-Aviar Driver all have the bead. KC pro is stiff plastic, JK Pro is soft plastic, and Aviar Drivers are only available in GStar plastic, unless you can find some OOP in DX on eBay.

3 bead types for Avair's in general, Big bead, small bead and no bead (beadless). KC Pro Avairs are all big bead and generally more over stable because of that fact...
