Here's all the info on the XB directly from Hero Disc USA:
Attention All Disc Collectors.
Hero Disc USA announces a limited and collectible release:
'The Innova Experimental 'XB' Test Disc'
The XB features a unique flight plate design. The idea was to create a design that among other things was geared towards lighter and faster discs. The original design mindset was to augment Japan Open Class (152g~159.9g) with 'XB' mold characteristics. Innova planned on releasing the design but decided to take a new direction.

The XB is not legal for play in PDGA sanctioned events.
The XB is intended for collectors' purposes only.
Various abbreviations and letter codes are written on the bottom of some of the discs.
