Easy way to feel the pendulum, brace, and shift from behind

I've been on a mission to figure out my putting stroke and had a bit of an epiphany while studying Barsbys putt.

Couple of things to notice here. Notice how he's shifting and bracing to the instep of his front foot. Also, notice how he's using his momentum to pump the swing. Finally, if you watch closely, you'll notice that when he putts, he shifts his weight entirely to the front foot as the putt is still falling in the backswing. He shifts so all his momentum is behind the putt, powering it forward.

Try this at home - you don't even need a disc - just trying shifting like Barsby is here, keeping your arm loose, and using your body to power the swing forward. Get a good feel for the rhythm and momentum.
Now close your stance so your arm can swing back past your body. You should find yourself doing this:

Really focus on keeping your arm loose in the backswing and notice how powerful it feel with that same rocking motion. You should be swinging your arm like a heavy wet towel hanging from your shoulder. Try to keep that same rhythm from the putting drill and start pumping the swing forward as it reached the top of the backswing. Notice also that as your arm comes across your center chest, if you make that some motion you did when tossing the putt, straight out towards 10 o'clock, you'll now have big wide swing that feels like the slash through drill just pulling your whole arm out away from your body.

One thing about pushing the disc out in the forward swing - be careful not to go overboard. There is a fine line between adding to the acceleration and strong arming, and crossing that line will absolutely kill your power.

Hopefully this helps some of you get a feel for this foreign motion. One last bit of advice- try combining this putting motion with the swivel stairs drill. Start out like your pitch putting straight down the stairs, then close up your stance so the swing is going out toward 10oclock, keeping the same rhythm, and you should feel really balanced and find that your back leg feels like it could catapult your arm out away from your body.

Watched a 3 hour form critique video today, and made a gif of his take on the hit/brace

Seems all the people who submitted videos for critique had very similar issues. Entire video:

I also like to use the plantar fascia and achilles tendon of the rear leg as a spring to shift against.
