I don't know why they don't rope off out of bounds areas in those back nine open holes to make it more interesting until the trees get bigger. They do this in tournaments all the time. Even something like OB tall grass like Whispering Pines has on the 9 hole. Chuck n putt just doesn't make for a good course.
