Post pics of your Disc Dog

Haha. Truth.

Hesitate to ask but - still frolfing with Smokey?

We haven't been out in a couple weeks unfortunately. I've been doing a lot of work on my, my dad, and my friend's houses lately. Even took this week off so I could get a big project moving at mine. He's been playing with his girlfriend that moved in next door instead.

My original reply to this thread is almost 6 years old now, so I thought I'd just go ahead and drop in another pic from this past weekend. This is Oscar with me right before our final round at the Jefferson City Open. (I've also posted a few more to my IG.) There's no better way to spend a day than playing disc golf with your best friend.

Follow-up: Oscar has become a great disc catcher over the years. With a good throw, he can track it down out to 200 feet. Somehow he knows the difference between a golf disc and a dog disc, which causes some confusion when I occasionally pull out his Bite during a round.

This is the closest thing I have to a Disc Dog. This is Red Baron. He cares nothing for the world except his blanket, his red frisbee that you see in the corner of the picture and his stuffed duck friend. Every time I have tried to bring him to a course he goes crazy trying to catch all the frisbees and I fear he will collapse from the monumental effort that it takes to run the 10 feet before he gives up. He is a good pal and will never be far from my side.....as long as I am on the couch :p

^Where's the picture, lol!

This boy chased out local bear for quite a while on Thursday. I just waited where I was and about 10 minutes later he shows back up, panting like a sumbi***. He downed a 32 oz nalgene of h2o and still wanted more.

This is Avery. She's 12 now. She's got a couple hundred rounds under her belt but she's getting a little too old to go 18. She still sniffs for squirrels while i do field work. Her new favorite hobby is hanging with my gf's 5 and 10 year old sons. She's pretty rad.

Been trapped in the house all weekend by hurricane Florence and this thread was just what the Dr ordered to pass some time.

Sorry. All this DG business drama and speculation is too much and the dog just strikes majestic poses. We met Texasissouth today and played a few holes. It was a great day at the Land of Rock!

Ol' PBR on hole 15:

This thread is an oasis amongst the speculation threads. You'd think some of these guys got paid by the word to wax philosophically about the future of DG.

If only the dog and I could get paid for each picture of him... Perhaps I'll set up a patreon account. Bean and I will split the proceeds 50/50.

The boy says, "that's a great idea!"

Some Virginia "big dogs" got the privilege of playing a round with PBR today. Sam Shiley, Austin Lilly and Steven Miller joined us today.

The dog's got sponsorship info he could drop but he basically said, "I'm not spilling the beans til I get paid."
