Taking into consideration the gravity of the Covid situation, we are fully prepared to implement and include the following measures to promote, adhere and exceed PDGA suggested safety and social distancing protocol.

I understand that participation in this event carries with it risk of injury or death and I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, administrators, executors, and assigns expressly release, forever discharge, and hold harmless [The Northside Open], [Sheldon Jefferson & Gorilla DG] and the PDGA (the "Releasees") for all personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death in connection with my participation in this event. Further, I understand and acknowledge that there currently exists a global pandemic associated with the disease COVID-19, that I am participating in this event at my own risk, that any safety precautions designed to protect against the spread of COVID-19 undertaken by the Releasees does not guarantee I will not contract COVID-19, and that, the foregoing notwithstanding, it is my specific intent to affirm my foregoing release of the Releasees with respect to any personal injury, loss, damage to property, or death I may experience from COVID-19 in connection with my participation in this event.

ONLINE / FB PLAYERS MEETING-
All players are responsible for knowing all rules, procedures and protocols for the event. These can be found HERE and the online players meeting Friday before the event on the linked fb page, i will also add the transcript here.
ALL PLAYERS MUST AGREE to use digital scoring.
NO MORE THAN 4 PLAYERS ON ANY CARD.
Digital scorecards - players will have the opportunity to score and submit scorecards digitally on the PDGA webpage. This will require zero person to person contact.
6ft minimum distance rule - We will repeatedly suggest all players adhere to this suggestion
Lunch separation - Players will be encouraged and policed to stay distanced at lunch between rounds one and two.
SCHEDULE -
2 rounds of 18 holes
MPO, FPO, MP40, MP50, MP60, MA1, FA1, MA40 will play the standard 18 hole layout. Holes 8 and 16 will play from the alt tees.
MA50, MA60, MA2, FA2, MA3, FA3, MA4, FA4 will play the standard 18 hole layout. Hole 16 will play from the alt tee. Holes 1 and 18 will play from shorter alt tees.
BOTH rounds on tee-times-
Tee times will be posted on the PDGA event page-
Morning tee times will run from approx 8am to 11am, cards of 4 players 8 min intervals. This will minimize the amount of players near Headquarters at any one time. Warm-up areas will be designated, well away from HQ. We will limit the number of players allowed in these areas, players with approaching tee-times will have priority.
PM tee times-
Start Approx 12pm.
Cards will play with the same groups both rounds to minimize potential contact.
