[Innova] DESTROYER destroyers unite!!

Shiny

Any word on how the sparkle CFRs fly? I have a 169g red one, but it's so purdy i haven't tossed it yet. Just wondering if they fly like the standard champs.

Had a chance to pick up a 158 gram Blizzard Destroyer today.

I've tried the Boss,TeeDevil and the Ape,but the Boss was the only one that flew like it should.

Do you think I should get it the next time I'm out there?I'm sure it will still be there since disc sales have dropped in my area.

I also couldn't find the right weight I wanted in the Avery Jenkins Molded Star Destroyers.I wanted a 168 gram, but all they had were 172 to 175.I talked to the guy and he said that he actually had some coming. He Didn't know the exact weights though.

I just started throwing Destroyers exclusively about 2 months ago but I figured I would show off my modest, growing Destroyer collection.

you don't throw anything but destroyers? ;)

I've been nailing 40+ foot putts since the switch! Haha. I used to throw Wraith/Surge with DD2's as my all out distance driver but its so nice and simple with all Destroyers now. One mold to cover all my drives is great. I probably got a little more distance out of my DD2's but not enough of a difference to justify having 3 different molds. I just have to learn to be a better putter! I carry a beat 1st run Champ for understable, 2 AJ's for most drives, and a really OS champystar. Couldn't be happier since switching over.

Hooray for SkyBluey Swirl 167g S/DS!
also destroying with: Green JBD 175g and Glow X-out D 176g.
If i could find nice Pro Ds theyd probably replace the Pro wraiths ive been using recently.
edit: Honorable mentions for rediculousness factor: PurplePaperPlate Blizz D 129g, Blue DXD 151g.

I've been carrying a Blizzard Destroyer 157g for a couple months. Definitely my long driver on open holes.

Went to Flymart here in Charlotte last night and found this Star Destroyer 170g with a sweet 2012 Worlds stamp on it.

Nice brainwaves booter.

Has anyone tried a metal flake yet? I picked up a blue max weight that is moderate to high dome. Wondering if she will be a pig or if is will have some nice glide like my broken in S/DS.

Do you guys also like the Boss? They have similar flight characteristics, right?

I use to think so until using the Destroyer exclusively for about a year and then throwing a Boss. If you have small hands the wider rim is hard to hold on to and the Boss, even beat real good has more late fade. If you have room to work the boss will consistently go farther but it needs more left to right movement. Destroyers are like the fairway driver of distance drivers if that makes sense.

I've been throwing Blizzards for a month now (love 'em) and I can say this: Blizz Destroyers for RHFH throwers like myself and my brother tend to go farther than the Boss for some reason...but RHBH and LHBH throwers seem to bomb the Boss WAY farther. I dunno. Destroyers have been my go-to distance drivers for years, but of all my drivers except for the Leopard it has the most variance in flight between plastic types.
