[MVP] MVP Tensor new overstable mid

So you guys don't feel like the Tangent has both "great glide" and a distinct, easy-to-range drop? To me, that thing really cooks when it's up to speed, but when it dies, it DIES. If I throw catch to someone, I can laser-beam it at head level 85% of the distance, then have it drop to waist level at the very end.

I haven't thrown/seen a Tensor so I'm speculating, but in context of the Tangent my read on Tensor's "great glide" with HSS is that it'll be very steady in height and lateral movement, and then go fadesies real hard right at the end. Sounds range-able to me!

I'm expecting the Tensor to be the beadless Gator girlfriend of the Tangent. Same core and similar feel, but with that flip resistance and late hard fade. The other day we took ZJ's most choicey beadless Gator (cuz them's some great disc) out with the Tangent. DANG what a tasty combo of flights! I'm going on not much more info than you guys, but as a Tangent and Sentinel lover, I'm really excited for this one.

ill buy a tensor when they come out, but im REALLY excited for the 2nd run thats more overstable

If you are referring to the shock problems, that was just a mistake. It's possible but unlikely they will screw up the mold with the tensor...at least I hope they don't screw up the first runs...

What happened to proton plastic??

They are filling out the holes in their line up in neutron before producing in proton. I personally like neutron better anyways. There doesn't seem to be a plastic on the market like it right now.

I lol'd

Mostly because history tells us this will be true.

@DGFanatic
Which run would you prefer they screw up?

None lol. I honestly believe the shock fiasco was a fluke, up until that point, none of their discs molds needed to be tweaked.

Sample sizes of one aren't really indicative of a historical representation...

See I can be overbearing on a mildly funny joke too. Now the joke is ruined -_-

well think about the first run axis and vector.
i think it was zam that said the volt was cleaned up too ?

No mold tweaks, only production tweaks.

Each tweak in a speed class informs the production of others in the class -- so by fine-tuning aspects of the Shock, they learned finer control of the Amp and Volt as well.

Has there been such a thing as "fluke Tangent"?

They've nailed overmold placement on the putter class, and seem to be very consistent now in the Axis/Vector class (which shares its core with the Tangent/Tensor class).

So, two adjacent speed classes that are well-tuned in Neutron production.

No long wings, no domey core. Not a ton of variability in where to place the overmold.

What's the reasonable concern again?

I know the Ion and Shock definitely got tweaked. The FR Vector was definitely more OS than production, but I don't know if they necessarily 'tweaked' it, or it just molded up differently than the first run.

The only MVP discs I carry are a Neutron Anode and a Soft Proton Anode, and a FR Proton Vector and a Neutron Vector.

would love to try a Tensor, and one of those soft neutron ions
