[Recommend] Disc to Get the Ladyfriend Hooked?

OK so title pretty much says it all. I've brought the ladyfriend out a couple times recently to play and she's really enjoyed it and wants to start getting more into the sport. She's only been throwing out of my bag so far and of that just my mids/putters which are all essentially DX plastic (I have a glow magic, but everything else is baseline until my fairways).

I really want to get her a good disc to start with that she can actually call hers. She has a decent arm, can get the mids out around 150ish if she gets it right.

Discs I've been considering include

Cyote: Little US, can use as a putter
Kite: Seems like it would be the classic starter disc for smaller arm types
Classic Roc: Right between putter and mid
Buzz: Can be a main disc basically forever
Comet: All around goodness, teaches well
Mako: Can do anything with it, holds whatever line you give
Tangent: Quite US, MVP just plain looks cool so might get her interested :p

If anyone has taught someone without much sports background/learned to play without much arm at first, what disc helped them/you learn the most and which one really got you hooked on discing?

go dx and probably go to the shop with her or order online with her so that she knows the effort.

The disc that got my fiance hooked and starting to ask me to go play before I would bring it up was a 150 class Z Storm. They are OOP, but she loves them. So when they come up for sale that means I usually have to buy it for her, which also means a couple new pieces of plastic for me:thmbup:

Ahhah, reminds me trying to get my gf hooked too. I wasn't this lucky, she hated the sport and gave me some serious talk about ball golf being a real sport and that frisbees should be for kids and dogs. No problems tho, now she knows what I do on courses all day and won't bother me too much. lol

E: doesn't Discmania have series called "lady line"?

Guess what I'm going to say....

gazelle!

Nice light weight DX gazelle flies so nice with beginners.

From my experience bringing people into the game a lighter stingray might be a good option. I've started a lot of people out with a stingray, then once they start to get a hang for everything I let them start using a rival for a more distance when they want it. What I give is mostly based on what I find scattered across the trunk of my car, but those two have tended to click with people.

DX Leopard in 160-167g. Still easy for beginners. They will never outgrow them.

Found the Discmania LadyLine but I have no idea bout US retails:
P1, MD2, FD
All in pink (P?)plastic and 150-class.

The Latitude 64 Pearl and Diamond seem to fit the bill here, but can not go wrong with a Stingray.

I give all new players a lightweight Pro Leopard and a lighter neutral mid or putter (usually a Buzzz or Aviar because I have them laying around). Easy and cheap to replace when they get lost.

stingray, and I have seen some new women players get good distance with an underworld.

What will also help is if you can find another couple she likes and get together for a game of dubs and a trip to the pub after. Socializing goes a long way in getting the ladies interested.
