I played in Iowa and Florida in my first full year of playing.

I am at 40 something with about a month left to go. I should get at least three more courses in during this next month.

35 in 3 months in alot of states

I travel for my job all the time so I have been lucky. I play every day on the road. I am up to 35 in 4 months. I keep it up I will break 100 my first year.

14 in first year

I played a total of 14 courses in my first year. Out of the 14 I played about 1/2 of those on a consistent basis since they are all in a close driving range of my location. Funny thing is that alot of those courses were installed during my first year and you can see what happens to a disc golf course when it's not maintained and when it is maintained.

I've played all of 9 courses in my life. I don't know how you people find the time and energy to take all these road trips. God bless you, but some of you must be independently wealthy with nothing to do. :p

Fortunately I travel for work...so I get to play a lot of new courses...played 10 new ones on this trip :)

i thought 25+ would be the minority not the majority, damn

I think the population of this site skews things away from what the results would be of disc golfers as a whole. The people who are on here posting and active in their first year of disc golf are the ones who are addicted already, and who probably found this site looking for more courses. Most of the people who go out once a month and play their local course probably won't come looking for DGCR.

65

65 my first year.

About 15 in central Maryland, where I live.
About 15+ along I81 in Virginia and 15+ along I40 in central/eastern Tennessee, two road trips.
About 10 in central/northern California, on vacation.
Three in the UK on a business trip.
Add in a few for central/southern Pennsylvania.

Planning on hitting lots of Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, eastern Ohio, and western New York courses my second year.

I actually played 47 my first year. I met up with Oakley Doakley and he took me all over place so I could get a real feel for different courses and designers. I really appreciated that! But don't tell him, 'cuz that kind of stuff goes right to his head. ;)

I chose 25+ because I've only been playing for about 2 months now and already have 14 under my belt, disc golf road trip? i think yes.

Disc golf road trips even locally (within 50 miles of home) are a lot of fun. I do enjoy playing a couple rounds on my way to Florida and a couple more on the way home. It breaks up the drive with a quick 1 hour or so of exercise and keeps me from falling asleep at the wheel!

that was always my problem, sleepiness.

I'm shooting for at least 350 by the end of this year...I'll be in Dallas next week and there are 10 courses I've not played yet that are sort of close to my hotel and then Anchorage the next week and there are 10 courses kind of close that I've not played, plus Alaska will be a new State...unfortunately, the next week I'm in Little Rock and I've played all the courses in that area...but at least I'll get to play Burns Red a few times...I love that course...
