[Discraft] 2015 Ace Race Disc

yes please

The standard puddle top on this is goofy. Its a straight disc, but not versatile. You could cycle these but I dont see the point in it. I dont see this disc becoming even close to challenger or magnet in popularity. Its kind of like a focus. Wish I had one of each of all the ones I listed but unfortunately I dont.

El Duderino, my hate for this disc name and stamp has little to do with disc golf. It has everything to do with drug use in society, and the destruction of lives across the entire planet. But really, saying anymore here is like going to a gun show to talk about gun control.

Do you get on your soapbox and rant against discs that share a name with automobiles? Just think of how many lives have been ruined thanks to cars. And the wildlife! How many dead animals thanks to cars? How much ruined habitat thanks to the creation of roads and parking lots? I'm getting that combo of anger sadness just thinking about it. By comparison, the things you mentioned are small potatoes.

You're really stretching there, my friend.

Am I? Tell that to the 35,000+ people who die annually in America thanks to automobiles.

That's not counting all the dogs, cats, deer, raccoons, opossums, squirrels, hawks and other birds, snakes, turtles, and various other members of the wildlife community who have had their lives cut short thanks to automobiles.

Don't even get me started on the number of green spaces destroyed thanks to parking lots and roadways.

Not stretching at all, friend. Keeping it as real as can be.

I wonder why the high and mighty people on here have no problem with the Predator.

For every one person that is on here soapboxing it up there has to be at least five people reading without commenting and thinking about how childish/naive/dictatorial this whole butthurt parade is. As far as substance abuse ruining lives, it is easy to argue that the act of making drugs taboo and sweeping/shaming/outlawing that whole branch of society in a dark corner is the actual cause of the ruined lives. Look at global statistics. The countries with the least severe drug abuse statistics are places that have done away with prohibition and geared their resources towards education and treatment. By outlawing and demonizing drug use our culture has created a huge opportunity for criminals to dominate the trade. Soapboxy people imposing their will on others ruin lives.

If the Pred stamp was of a guy peering into a window, you'd have a point.

Don't like the name or the stamp? DON'T BUY THE DISC. Stop complaining about a cigar and an implication you're blowing way too far out of proportion. Your pathetically judgmental attitude in this thread is ten times more detrimental to this game than a stamp of a cockroach smoking a cigar. This is not now, nor will it ever be a wholesome sport. Not even the creator of this game cared about the stereotype. Believe me, even though he's long passed, his opinion is still monumentally more important to this game than yours.

If you think drugs destroy communities, look at what judgmental attitudes have been doing to them lately (or at least what the news is telling us about Muslim radicals). Take your cause somewhere else or, better yet, stop crying and do something for the sport that you feel is positive. Someone asked you in this thread what you've done to change things (and someone else quoted it asking the question again), and you choose to ignore them both. That's alright though. We all already know the answer is NOTHING!

Disc o'Cheese and Tbird good valid points and no substantive rebuttal. Smh. It's easier to look down and pontificate on what one doesn't understand or like than get your hands dirty and do something about it.

I answered your question already. What I "do about it" outside of the disc golf world is my business. Inside the disc golf world, I hardly have enough time to even play the game, much less clean it up. Or make it "grow." :|
